Why I built true per-platform previews (and why you should demand them)

Here's a small horror story. Early on, I scheduled a thread I was proud of. It looked great in the composer — a tidy text box, nicely spaced. It went out and the link preview ate the last two lines on X, LinkedIn truncated it mid-sentence at the "see more" fold, and the image I'd attached showed up cropped weird on Instagram.

The text box lied to me. Every scheduler's text box lies to you, because a text box is not a feed.

So I built the feed

Post Bridge renders your post exactly as each platform will show it, live, as you type:

• The X card with the real avatar, handle, and engagement row.
• The LinkedIn post with the actual "see more" fold at ~210 characters, so you know what people read before the click.
• The Instagram tile as a true square, with the caption truncation at 125 characters.
• The TikTok vertical frame with the caption overlay and action rail.
• Bluesky, Threads, Facebook, Pinterest and YouTube, each in their own skin.

Why it matters more than it sounds

Previews aren't a nicety. They're the difference between confidence and hope. When you can see the fold, you write to the fold. When you can see the crop, you fix the crop before a thousand people see it. The tool stops being a form you submit and starts being a stage you rehearse on.

The real product I was cloning didn't have this. That's exactly why I built it.
